I want an early 80s camaro berlinetta with the digital dash. Because beepin-boopin digital dash. Swap in an ecotec 4 with a 6-speed manual from a solstice and it would be.......a car. Of some kind. That I could drive. To places. Beepin-boopin the whole way there and hopefully the whole way back!

Getting that digital dash to talk to the new electrics would be a heckuva party trick. I love the idea though!
I have recently become affected by something I never thought would happen: nostalgia for my first car. It was an ‘89 Olds Tornado Trofeo. It had a very cool digital dash, and the comfiest seats ever . The car as a whole was slow as dogshit, but it looked cool and unique. Until maybe six months ago, I never wanted one again. Now, I think it would be perfect to cruise around in with my kids.

I almost got a trofeo as my third car. I got a 90s riviera instead. A 90s riv with the supercharged 3800...... so I think I made the right choice lol.

A guy in my high school had one, I always thought it was a really different, but cool looking car. They used the 3.8L V6, which would make one ripe for a supercharged 3800 swap. Now that would be a fun kiddie hauler!

DO IT!
I love 3rd gens, especially the later ones, but I love this idea for an early one with an Ecotec swap. It would be quite the sleeper.

Yeah, a super charged swap would be pretty sweet!

Oh, a college buddy of mine had one of those. You did make the right choice.
